Embark on a heroic expedition with Valkyrie: Battle of the Nine - a bespoke PvM experience for Talon Tales, and part of an exciting lineup of brand new content this year.

Valkyrie: BotN will be available to all players, with a bi-weekly schedule to ensure as many parties can experience the new instance, along with announcements of planned future content. These instances will be dynamic, with a story that walks players through each Valkyrie's arc.

The following instances will be released in stages:

EPISODE I - III (2019)

Brynhildr, Herja, Geiravor

EPISODE IV - VI (2019-2020)

Prima, Hildr, Reginleif

EPISODE VII - IX (2020-2021)

Sigrun, Kara, Olrun

TOWER INSTANCES

The tower instances are an increasingly difficult gauntlet challenge themed around Valkyrie: Battle of the Nine. Participating parties make their way up progressive stages, with a special boss encounter every 10th stage. These battles function similar to Endless Tower, with players being required to defeat all monsters on a particular stage before the door to the next can open. Once on a floor, players are unable to go backwards.

This is a good opportunity to farm for Valkyrie Coins as well as special Valkyrie Tokens for the Bazaar, where players can exchange these for special costumes, items, armaments and prizes! The tower instances will be available to all players, with a weekly cooldown.

SPECIAL INSTANCES

Special instances will be integrated throughout the each tower release, fulfilling the story arc of Valkyrie: BotN. Unlike the towers, special instances will have bespoke dungeon crawls, expansive story plots with extremely difficult challenges and bosses to boot.

The Valkyrie tokens obtained during a run can also be used to unlock the latter instances (Heimdallr & O -- N) which will provide opportunities to obtain even rarer rewards in the long run. Much like the towers, special instances will also be automated once they have gone through the 'dynamic' hosting cycle.
